13 DUCKS AND GEESE AND BIRDS BETTER SCURRY August 2005 166-182 Leyla and Nillan go on a picnic. It doesn't work out so well.	15 I'M JUST A LOVE MACHINE September 2005 194-219 Cinn accompanies Jessica to a frat party where she doesn't feel she fits in. While wandering the campus, she bumps into Nillan, who is in a similar situation. They spend the evening discussing their respective love lives (or lack thereof).
16 STOP IN THE NAME OF Late October 2005 220-231 Leyla meets Nillan in his university class and they talk about silly things. Then, for some unknown reason, Leyla breaks into tears and leaves.	17 NOT QUITE THERE November 2005 232-250 Jessica and Cinn discuss their love lives, family background and racial identity. Meanwhile, Nillan and Sam eat pizza and escape from the rain. 8 1/2 by Eleven is a webcomic drawn by Canadian author and artist Lucas Teodoro da Silva, also known as Lucas TdS.

It follows the lives of six university students living in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada).

The two main protaganists are Leyla Dumont and Nillan McMillan.

The comic is focussed mostly on the relationships between the six lead characters, and slowly unveils details about both their present lives and their past lives in a series of stories, which are divided into chapters.

The comic moves in semi-real time, similar to the time found in the popular syndicated comic strip For Better or For Worse. Well, before For Better or For Worse kicked into reruns for infinity, that is.

What this means for you, the reader, is that reading the strip is best done from a point in the story where you can make sense of what's going on. I've divided the Books into coloured blocks. If you start at the beginning of any of the coloured blocks, you should be able to read from there without getting confused or lost.

Throughout the course of a year, weather and climate changes are noticable in the comic. The period of the year covered by each chapter is noted in italics under the chapter name.
